Dental bonding is a way of bonding composite resin (tooth colored filling material) to teeth to make minor changes in a tooth’s shape or spacing.  This is similar (but in smaller areas) to the direct dental veneer technique discussed earlier.  The tooth is first etched to create micro roughness, coated with a liquid dental bonding agent which is cured with a special light, and then composite resin is applied as needed.  This works great for small areas needing only minor changes.
