Replace Missing Teeth

Unfortunately, sometime teeth are lost from periodontal disease, dental decay, or fractures.  Today there are options to replace missing teeth that are far better than the past.  It is not necessary to grind down perfectly good neighboring teeth.  It is not necessary to have visible hooks or wobbly dentures.  Dental implants can be used to support replacement teeth – one tooth, 2 teeth, or even a full arch.  The success rate is high, the comfort level is high, and the appearance can be great!

Implant supported crowns are typically stronger than a fixed bridge and typically a better choice as the fixed bridge requires grinding down the adjacent teeth.  Yet we do offer the other alternatives if that is what is preferred.  Sometimes an expanded upper sinus makes implants more difficult.  There may be insufficient residual bone to house an implant, although often advanced bone grafting techniques can be used to address both issues.

Removable dentures can be full arch or partial arch.  They are not done as often as in the past, but still can be made if desired.
